She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Skinner; her parents, John Perry and Willie Mae Perry (Totten); her former spouse Leslie Joy; her son Lonnie Odell Joy; and her great grandchild Marshawn Joy.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Joy (Patti), Theresa Kelley (Charles), Boneita El Louise Miller and Carlos Joy (Marti); and her brothers, Calvin Perry and Frank Perry. She is also survived by seven Grandchildren; twelve Great-Grandchildren; two stepchildren, one Great-Great-Grandson.
