We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2019, at the age of 85, Melvin Ebenezer Ackerman Sr. (Wichita Falls, Texas), born in Little Meadows, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Ackerman and Frances Neimer; and his grandchildren, Joshuah Francis Ackerman and Jolene Yvonne Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ackerman; his children, Melody Barnett of Wichita Falls, Don Seybert (Charlotte) of Owasso, Frank Ackerman of Ardmore, Tina McMillin of Wichita Falls, Melvin Ackerman, Jr of Wichita Falls, Laurie Rice (Roger) of Wichita Falls and Kimberly Simmons (Dale) of Antelope, California; and his sisters, Cora Cassin of Greenville, Mae Furman of Greenville and Nancy Kinney of Glen Aubrey. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
