He was predeceased by : his parents, William Calvin and Flora Stone Pruett; and his siblings, Dorothy Case, Doris Pruett, Mearline Gray, William Calvin "Dub" Pruett, Jerry Pruett and Horace Pruett.

He is survived by : his daughters, Laini Pruett of California and Shannon Pruett Ware (Nick) of Wichita Falls; his grandchild Allie Rodriguez (Reyes) of Wichita Falls; his daughters, Salmon of California and Aston (Cameron Chasteen) of Denton; and his siblings, Tommy Pruett (Evelyn) of Wichita Falls, Barbara Oram of Frisco and Dwana Hughes (Charles) of Houston.
