With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Pete Howard Oakley of Wichita Falls, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Howard "Pistol Pete" and Gertie Mae Oakley; and his mother-in-law Carolyn Pair. He is survived by: his wife Carrie (Alcoholics Anonymous); his children, Keenan Rook (Ukiah Gilbert) of Wichita Falls, Cassie Johnson (L. R.) of Wichita Falls and Christa Rook of Wichita Falls; his siblings, Rebekah Patrick of Abilene and Greg Slaughter; and his grandchildren, Jaxon, Devin, Lonzo, Layton Howie, Elliott, Mercy, Lottie and Milez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
