It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Hooper of Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Ruth Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ruth Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ruth Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Lively and Lois Lively (Galloway); her husband Allen Ray Hooper; her sister Flo Wanda Strealy; and her sibling's children, Darrell Strealy, Jim Lively and Rita Lynn Jones (Max).
She is survived by: her grandsons, Chet Hooper (Nicole), Parker and Owen Hooper; and her sibling's children, Ginger Bieker (Tom) and Monte Strealy (Tommie).
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rosemont Cemetery (4441 Southwest Pkwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76308).
