She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Roy Broadway, Christine Megason, Charles and Sue Bailey. She is survived by: her son Garrett Wayde; her husband Gary Butler; her son Grayson; her stepdaughter Tori Treasure (Tyler); her parents, Travis and Betty; her siblings, Arden, Heath Broadway, Melanie DeMoss (Jacques), Paige Buchannan (Zac), Lori Zouzalik (Marcella Staniek) and Sarah Tobias (Tyler); her siblings' child Adoring; and her parents-in-law, Terry Butler, Shirley and Meredith Bradberry.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The Shawn Butler Memorial Scholarship Fund through the WFISD Foundation, Junior League of Wichita Falls, Rathgeber Hospitality House or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
