It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sofia Moncibaiz of Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Valdez and Sara Valdez; her husband Rey Moncibaiz; her son Rey "Noodle" Moncibaiz Jr.; and her siblings, Jesusa Valdez Montalvo, Francis Valdez Torres, Manuel Valdez, Felipe Rico Valdez, Rosa Reyes Lopez and Herminia Maciel.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Debra Moncibaiz), Robert (Melinda Moncibaiz), Michael Moncibaiz and Maryann (Danny Lasseter); and her brother Salvador Valdez. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
