She was predeceased by : her parents, William Maroney and May Donnie Maroney; her husband Sylvester Spencer Sr.; her children, James Clayton Spencer (Brenda), John Spencer Sr. and Joyce Ann Brown; and her siblings, Mary Ann Maroney, Polly Wilson, Leomia Alexander, Mattie Spencer, Amile Maroney, William Maroney Jr. and George Maroney.
She is survived by : her children, Robert Spencer (Ann), Horace Spencer, Sylvester Spencer Jr. (Debra), Lago Spencer (Taneicesaya), Mary Black (Benny), Addie L. Spencer and Stacey Spencer; and her sisters, Annie Antia (Okon) and Emma Pearl Elie (LP). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
