He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Nelson and Bonnie Bell Nelson; his siblings, Gary Nelson, David Wayne Nelson and Fay Nell Brace; his wife Mary Nelson of Poetry; his children, Donnie Nelson (Kristi) of Poetry, Roger Nelson (Melanie) of Canton, Janie Smith (Ken) of Wills Point, Sherry Rogers (Steve) of Penelope, TX and Shelly Lee Morel of Wills Point; his grandchildren, Jay Nelson (Teresa, Allen Nelson), Dillon Nelson, Kaitlynn Nelson, Aaron Nelson, Jonathan Nelson, Brandi Dlabaj, Justin Dlabaj, Talli Dlabaj, Angel Hogan, Joshua Stevens, Julia Stevens, Jesse Stevens, Conner Smith, Justin Lee Snider, Brendon Rose, Trey Hollman, Katie Lee Ann Climer and Tony Climer; his great grandchildren, Madi Nelson, Olivia Nelson, Alli Nelson, Aiden Nelson, Savanna Nelson and Xavier Snider; and his sisters, Margaret Angell (Billy, Shirley Staats) and Darlene Potts (Ricky). He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
