He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Davis and Lois Davis; his wife Linda Jean Davis; his sister Peggy Jean Davis Jaco; and his pets, Scooter, Tinkerbelle and Myrtle Mae.
He is survived by: his sons, Dale Davis, Jr. of Wills Point and Greg Davis (Debbie) of New Braunfels; his stepson Billy Wilson; his daughter Lindy Lewis of Wills Point; and his brothers, Charles Davis (Paulette) of Chandler and Jimmy Davis (Charlotte) of Winnsboro. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
