She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryan Rinks and Lillie Rinks; her husband Homer Nelson; her son Homer Nelson, Jr.; her grandson Bryan Nelson; her brother Bryan Rinks, Jr.; and her aunt Roxie Rinks.
She is survived by: her son James Nelson (Janie) of Terrell; her grandchildren, Matt Nelson, Jessie Nelson, Kelli Nelson and Traci Foster; and her great grandchildren, Blayne Clower, Amrie Clower and Kyler Shaw.
