He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Alford Houston and Dorotha Killingsworth Houston of Edgewood, TX.. He is survived by : his children, Lieutenant Connor Alexander Houston (Heidi) and Caitlin Philpott (Rich Kawamoto) of Mississuga; the mother of his children Kerri Toloczko (Houston) of Naples, FL; his sister Monell Weatherly (Michael) of Itasca, TX; and his nieces and nephews, Cymbre Kooker (Justin) of Elmo, TX, Pierce Weatherly (Janelle) of West Deptford, NJ and Choyce Weatherly (Devan) of Magnolia, TX. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 27th 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Memories Memorial Park (27532 TX-64, Canton, TX 75103).
