She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Bourg and Philip Bourg; her husband Wlliam Edward Salzar; her siblings, Albert, Philip, Haden, O'Neal Bourg and Bessie Davis; and her great grandchildren, Teranee Danielle Klander-Smith and Maureen Elizabeth "Mo" Duhon.

She is survived by : her children, Carolyn Hunter (David) of Winnie, Annette Shepherd (James) of Fannett and Steven Salzar (Karen) of Houston; and her sisters, Zelma Welty of Port Neches and Betty Smiley of Groves. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren.
