He is survived by : his wife Alana "Al" Sumpter of Winona; his sons, Scott A. Sumpter of San Antonio and Brett; his brother Artis Sumpter (Sharon) of Higbee; his grandchildren, Sydney Sumpter, Dylan Sumpter and Austin Sumpter; his niece Sherri; and also Ellward (Eric).
