He is survived by : his wife Linda Newkirk of Winona; his children, Jennifer Newkirk of White Oak, Lyndsey Fernandez (Raoul) of Arlington, Gary Mitchell (Kim) of Pritchett and Crystal Key (Brad) of Liberty City; his grandchildren, Jessica, Grant, Avree, Lane, Rosalyn, Tripp and MacLynd; and his siblings, Ronnie Newkirk of Starrville, Christy Melton (Larry) of Gladewater and David Newkirk of Starrville.
