We bid farewell to Janet Powell (Woodway, Texas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 31, 2025 at the age of 70. Janet touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Holtzinger and Gloria Holtzinger (Hascher); and her parents-in-law, Dorothy and Barron Ramsey Powell. She is survived by: her husband Philip Powell; her children, Amanda Whitley (WW) and Brandon (Mary); her granddaughters, Madelyn, Evelyn and Blakelyn Whitley; her sister Susan Hughes (Billy); her sister-in-law Eva Vokes (Barry); and her close friend Judy Wilcox (Steve). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grace Gardens Funeral Home & Crematorium (8220 Woodway Dr, Woodway, TX 76712). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
