With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Collier Boyd in Wylie, Texas, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on December 6, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Collier Boyd to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Collier and Marguarite Collier; her husband Dale Boyd; her daughter Karen Kay Boyd; and her brother Richard Collier.
She is survived by: her children, David Boyd (Vicki), Becky Wafford (Rick), Tom Boyd and Jill Boyd; and her siblings, Virginia Francis and Bob Collier (Ann). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Highland Oaks Church of Christ (9400 Plano Rd, Dallas, TX 75238). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Rest Haven Memorial Park (2500 TX-66, Rockwall, TX 75087).
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to Highland Oaks Church of Christ or Alzheimer's Association.
