Mary Ann Montpas Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Montpas of Wylie, Texas, born in Rome, New York, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Mary Ann Montpas to show support.

As we bid Mary Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Thomas Reed; her brother Frank Giardino; and her parents, Nellie Pinti Giardino and Fred Giardino. She is survived by: her husband Edwin T. Montpas of Wylie; her nieces, Mary Ann Giardino of Rome and Susan Giardino-Danielski of Westmoreland; and her sister-in-law Fernanda Giardino of Rome.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
