He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Grady Allen and Elois Allen; his wife Carolyn; his stepchildren, Kim (Mark Robertson), Wayna (Robert Glaess), Amy and Roy Allen Jr. (Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, Ethan (Carly Glaess), Jake (Bethany Robertson), Collin (Makenna Glaess), Calvin (Lauren Reavis), Tanner Glaess, Cory Reavis, Jared (Maddy Robertson), John Allen, Logan Glaess and Kyndal Glaess.

Despite having Parkinson's disease for over 20 years, he continued to live a life full of love.
