With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Melvin Striedel of Yoakum, Texas, who passed away on May 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Albert Striedel and Elsie Clara Kirchner Striedel; and his brothers, Johnnie "Sonny" Striedel, Norman Striedel and Dalton Striedel.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce St (Clair Striedel); his children, Charles Melvin Striedel II of Austin and Cynthia "Cindy" Dekowski (Donovan) of Yoakum; his grandchildren, Geoffrey Striedel (Bridget) of Cuero, Devan Dekowski (Dalena) of Yoakum, Catherine Jimenea (Jay) of Houston and Lindsey Sobarzo (Daniel) of Yoakum; his great grandchildren, Brody Striedel, Hudson, Hayden Dekowski, Charlie Sobarzo, Everleigh Dekowski, Olivia Striedel, Anna and Olivia Jimenea; and his siblings, Roland Striedel (Patsy) of Cuero, Anthony "Butch" Striedel (MaryAnn) of Yoakum, Barbara Warzecha (late Vincent) of Cuero and Susan Wade (Joel) of Waco. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
