She is survived by: her sister Emma Pickens (Don); her children, Janice Wimbish-Kennedy, Dr. Wanda Carter-Dyer (Edwin) and Darryl Wimbish (Lola); her grandchildren, Brittany Prince, Courtney Carter, Dr. Kerrie Carter-Walker (Robert), Caitlin Carter, Dan Trey Polk and Henry Corona; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy Davis, Zion Roberts, Memphis Sanders, Carter Fulton, Zailyah Walker and Zachariah Walker.
