He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Koenig and Avis Tedder Koenig; and his brother Marcus Koenig. He is survived by : his children, Mary Koenig of Yoakum, Dr. Karl Koenig (Lindsay) of Austin, Leslie Joe Koenig II (Bianca) of Cayucos and Nathan Koenig (Amy) of Yoakum; his grandchildren, Jake, Zach, Landon, Abby, Les, Lucas, Lila Rose, Hayes and Jack; and his sisters, Melba Bucek of Yoakum, Mary Ann Striedel (Anthony) of Yoakum and Theresa Kristek (Patrick) of Yoakum.
