Rose Tam Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Tam of Yorktown, Texas, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent W. Warzecha and Susie Dreymala Warzecha; her husband Anton "Tony" Tam of Michael's Catholic Church; her daughter Diana Tam; and her brothers, Vincent, Ladis, Tony, Newton and Bob Warzecha.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia "Virgie" Karl of Victoria, Cathy Hurta (James) of Cuero, Cynthia Tam of Yorktown and William "Bill" Tam (Susan) of La Vernia; her grandchildren, Becky DeBord (William), Matt Atzenhofer (Lisa), Thomas Atzenhofer (Laurie), Brandon Karl (Sarah), Keleigh Spinner (Jeff), Will Tam, Courtney Calk (Brandon), Laura Little (Ryan), Josh Rodriguez (Kristina), Isaac Rodriguez and Amanda Henderson; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Colby (Jessica), Colton DeBord (Macy), Grayson, Cade Atzenhofer, Kelsey Winston (Victor), Kaylee, Kinsley, Kam Karl, Emma, Audrey, Luke, Ray, Molly Spinner, Shelby, Presley Calk, Bailey, Reese Little, Paige (Caleb), Hesston Lemke, Kylie Nance, Jetton, Avery, Zachary, Cole and Case Rodriguez; her brother David Warzecha (Patsy); and her caregivers, Olga Lassmann, Mary Jane Torres and Tricia Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (212 E Main St, Yorktown, TX 78164). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 6:30 PM and on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (1214 Zorn Rd, Yorktown, TX 78164).
Memorials may be given to Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Yorktown EMS, or donor's choice.
