He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Phoebe Gedge; his siblings, Herbert, Keith, Galyen (Mary Ann), Gilbert Pedersen, Karen Braithwaite, Phoebe Eason (Richard), Kent, Elray Pedersen and Remore Gerber; his father Oliver Cowdrey Pedersen; and his grandfather Oliver. He was also cherished by 48 Grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.
