He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Howell Burnside; his children, Ed Burnside (Kathryn), Jodi Christensen (Dennis), Heidi Gurney (Wesley), Tori Carter (Jeff) and Matt Burnside (Kristy); and his sisters, Jean Burnside Johnson, Joan Burnside Hostler and Marieanne Burnside Sample. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
