She was predeceased by: her parents, Devear Carl and Martha Louisa Jackson Ross; her husband Marvin R Cook; and her children, Sherrie Curtis (Loren Michael), Kathleen Cook Calahan and Blanie R Cook (Velina).
She is survived by: her children, Carla Zimmerman (Stephen) and Brent Cook (Jackie); and her sister Devean Ross Smart. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 67 great grandchildren.
