She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Andres Adolfo Zelaya Munguia and Antonia Pineda; her husband Hermogenes Martinez Serrano; and her children, Almita Nohemi Villatla, Efrain Hermogenes Villalta and Glenin.

She through strokes, skin cancer, Alzheimer's and Dementia and still had a smile on her face often.
