He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Ricks and Ellen Ricks; his daughter Karen; and his sister Joyce. He is survived by: his wife Cleo Alberta Johnson; his children, Lori (Paul) and Scott (Caroline); his son-in-law Tony; and also, Tom (Colleen) and Judy (Bjorn).
