He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Allen Dobson and Pauline Snowden-Dobson; his son Derick; and his siblings, Don, Sweetie, Dottie, Scott and John.

He is survived by: his children, Bryan and Christy; his former wife Kathy Ann; his children, Kassandra and Danny; his sister Paula Dobson; his child Kassy; his grandchildren, Brittany, Kayla, Ashlyn, Kamryn, Parker, Daniel and Asher; and his great grandchildren, Xander, Oliver and Everly.
