She was predeceased by: her close friend Jack LeRoy Mecham; and her children, Becki and Roy. She is survived by: her son David; her spouse Lt. Jack L. Mecham; her daughter Cheryl; her granddaughters, Lisa Groneman (Brian) and Emily Freebairn (Sean); her great grandchildren, Sophia Jackson (Jeff), Mecham Groneman (Marissa), Parker Groneman, Eliza Palmer (Stilman) and Jacob Groneman; and her great great grandchildren, Rio, Exi Jackson and Zella Palmer.
Donna was born in the rural town of Shelbyville, Michigan on September 9, 1918 at the height of the Great Influenza Pandemic, which eventually killed more than 24 million people worldwide.
