She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda Pauline (Schulze) and Hans Risto. She is survived by: her children, Gundula, Dieter "Dee", Volker and Hans J. "John"; her former spouse Affel Erekson; her children, Richard Erekson, Brian Erekson, David Erekson, Sarah Willardsen (Adam), Amy Marcus (Justin) and Robert Erekson (Candice); her boyfriend Roger Haven; her sisters-in-law, Debbie, Nicki and Sue; and her sister Sarah. She is also survived by her six children, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, her three brothers.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Gundi's Huntsville Residence (7409 E 400 S, Huntsville, UT 84317).
