He was predeceased by: his parents, John Card Greaves and Mary Jane Pendleton; his wife Doris Ann Walker; his siblings, Howard, Vera, Vella, Phyllis, Ray and Clarice; and his granddaughter Abigail.

He is survived by: his children, Jay Greaves (Melanie), Paul Greaves (Julie), Judie Parsons (John) and Shirlie Wilson (David); and his sister Delpha Allen. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
