He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmo and Leah; and his son Gary Lynn. He is survived by : his wife Janice; his daughters, Annette Fields and Natalie Boswell of Cumming, GA; and his sisters, Barbara Wilde (Glen), Patricia Redmond (David) and Connie Stanfield. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.

He had Parkinson's and dementia but fought a hard battle and was coherent and active until the end.
