He was predeceased by : his wife Ilene Joan Llewelyn; his father James Lynn Tidwell (Madge Elaine McDonald); his siblings, Billy Joe "Kip" Tidwell and Judy Lyn Thornton; his children, Jody Mac and Jennifer Lee; and his grandson Nickolas Nielson.

He is survived by : his brother Randy [Rolinda]; his daughters, Trish [Keith Nielson] and Stacie [Brian Lawrence]; his grandchildren, Derek [Kendall], Adam, Mat, Zack, Kayla [Tyler Williams], Gavin, Brittney, Clarissa, Erik, Alyssa [Cayman Williams], Breann, Sam [Mary] and Jeremy Mac; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Miles, Logan, Avery Lee and Peyton Jennifer. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends.

“I have known Mac for quite a few years now. He was always kind to me. We had many good times and conversations together. He had his challenges and his moments of heartbreak, yet he continued on. We most definitely will see Mac again, and we will speak with, be with, and associate with him once again. All that IS possible because of the Atoning sacrifice of our Brother Jesus Christ. I wish Trish and Stacie and all of Mac's family the very best.”
