He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Harry and Irene Brooksby Shamo; his children, Steven Wayne Shamo (Bonnie) of Delta Utah, Michelle Peek (John) of Wrightwood, CA, Laurel Bruner (David) of Provo, Katrice Schimbeck (Stacy) of Washington and Lynette Heideman (Justin) of Provo; his former wife Phyllis; his sister Sharon Shamo; his brother-in-law Carl Morgensen; his wife Teresa of Washington; and his siblings, Ronald Shamo (Marilyn) of Hurricane, Lyle Shamo (Tracy) of South Jordan and Elaine McConkie (Burke) of Gilroy, CA. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
