She was predeceased by: her parents, Clain Brown Baxter and Irene Ruth Powell Baxter; and her brothers, Raymond Baxter and Lynn Baxter. She is survived by: her husband John Marvin Peay; her son Curtis Peay (Carla); and her grandchildren, Greg Peay (Eliza), McKenzie Peay and Ryan Peay.
