He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Burt McDonald and Nancy Geraldine Clark; his wife Mary Margaret McComb McDonald; his siblings, Cyrus, Nancy, Dennis and Joseph; and his great grandchild Alayna.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Margaret McComb; his children, Denise Halladay (Thomas), Scott McDonald (Nannette), Sean McDonald, Yvonne Campbell (Scott), Erik McDonald (Traci), Cheyne McDonald (Susan), Chad McDonald (Brook) and Ian McDonald (Isabel); and his sisters, Teresa and Delpha. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
