He was predeceased by : his father Charles E.; and his siblings, Charles Joyce Shipp (Joyce), Rodney Shipp, Darlene DeBoer (Bud) and Stan Gleave.

He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Poulsen; his daughters, Jacki Finch (Dwight), Cindy Cloward (David), Staci York (John) and Laura Smith (Darren); his sister Karol Gleave; and his cousin Royal Shipp (Carolyn). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
