He is survived by: his wife Shelley Dierenfeldt; his siblings, Gene Dierenfeldt (Shanda) and Rick Dierenfeldt (Jane); and his children, Whitney Strong (Andrew), Spencer Dierenfeldt, Tiffany Waugh (Clay), Roxanne Cottrell (Kenny), Jennifer Ahlstrom (Bill) and Beth Reese (Sam). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and numerous extended family.

In lieu of flowers, friends can make contributions to the local LDS missionary fund in Russ' name.
