She was predeceased by: her parents, William Guffey and Josephine Freeman Guffey; her siblings, Margie, Fern, Jean, Jerry and Lee Roy; and her son Andy.

She is survived by: her children, Jesse James, Jackie (Jimmy Surrage), Billy B, Edward Garry Jr. (Andy), Wes and Vicky Kahlandt; and her sister Sharen Swenson (Kevin).
