He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Alfred Robbins and LaVean Christensen; his wife Velda; his children, Kelly Robbins, Steven Robbins (Connie), Mark Robbins, Sheila Kirkham (Jeff) and Tom Robbins (Heather); his siblings, Geraldine Whiting and RonDell Robbins; and his daughters-in-law, Connie Rae Voss and Christine McMurtrey. He was also cherished by his children, he retired in 1986, and began relishing his role as a grandfather and great grandfather.
