He was predeceased by: his parents, George Howells and Emily Roberts Pearce; his siblings, George, Ralph and Mattie; and his granddaughter Shaylyne Marie Pearce.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his sons, Michael (Wendy) of Nibley, Utah, Rodney of Logan, Utah, Jeffrey (Richelle) of Kaysville, Utah and Steven of Pocatello, Idaho; and his sister Wanda Burrell of Washington Terrace, Utah. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
