She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leon William and Buell Laverne Blanchard (Martin); her husband Richard William Takacs; her children, Edward Leon Takacs (Debra), Rita Marie Pouliotte and Wes Warren Takacs (Jennifer); and her siblings, Leon Leroy Blanchard (Carol), Janice Kay Kelley (Ronald), Beth Evelyn Marriott, Fairen William Blanchard (Karen) and Jerril Eldon Blanchard (Daneice). She was also cherished by Her 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
