He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Olsen Olenslager and Veda Kate Nichols; his wife Fern Olenslager; his son Grant Olenslager; his brothers, Alvin Olsen Olenslager Jr. and Holt Olenslager; and his half-sister Renee Olenslager.
He is survived by: his brother Rupert; his uncle Bill; his aunt Eva Nichols; his mother-in-law Fern Rytting; his children, Denice, Nancy, Mike Olenslager (Carolyn) of Enoch and LaRetta Olenslager; his brother Les Olenslager of St. George; and his half-sister Sherry Olenslager Clarke of Oregon. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
