She was predeceased by: her father Atanacio Gastelum. She is survived by: her husband Guillermo Cortes; her sons, Guillermo Cortes III, Maximus Cortes and Tenoch Cortes; her mother Carmen Sosa; and her siblings, Adela, Andrea, Cenaida, Vero, Pilar, Karla, Jose, Jesus, Iganacio, Ramon, Juan Pable Gastelum and Guillermina Gastelum.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church (210 Chapel St, Layton, UT 84041).
