He is survived by: his son William Slate; his wife Leslie Frost Slate; his children, Melinda Anderson (Brian) of Herriman, UT, Chad Slate (Christy) and Jennifer Day (Shane); his grandchildren, Courtney Griffin, Colton Slate, Sydney, Ethan and Jace Day; his great grandchildren, Callie Griffin and Camden Slate; and his siblings, Joan Hoskins, Hermiston of Oregon, Doris Stott and Dick Slate of Morgan, UT..
