She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vernon Ariel and Beulah Jane Robertson Hutchings; her spouse John Meadows; her children, Reese Meadows (Wendy), Deniece Huddleston (Jack), Vanett Meyer, Tracy Gorder (Mike), Bret Meadows (Melisa), Deon Meadows (Tammy) and Kelli DiBene (Mike); her brothers, Vinton Hutchings, Dennis Meadows and Harold Meadows; and her grandson Kevin Gorder. She was also cherished by 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
