He was predeceased by: his parents, Versie Dixon and R. E. Sanders (Reese); his siblings, Thelma Lee Holston and Michael Lee; and his siblings-in-law, Bobbie Dixon, Harley and Phillip.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his children, Denise Lake (John) and Roderick (Rod); his friend Leon (Tiffany); his siblings, Dorothy McWee, Lennell Avery (Martin), J. L. Dixon, S. L. Dixon (Barbara), Maryann Dixon, Versie Dixon Jr., Yvonne James (Homer), Earnest Lee Jr., Robert Lee and Mark Lee; his stepsister Semjai Riley; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Shields (Daniel) and Gloria Jean Brown. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
