He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Keith and Emma Emeline Cottle Arave; his wife Dorothy Buck; and his granddaughter Gerilyn Muir. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Avis, Ilene Carey (Dwight), Leonard Arave (Carol), Tracy Arave (Leisa) and Lynette Knighton (Daniel).
