She is survived by: her parents, Russell King Homer IV and Kuulei Anna Verret; her children, Allen Hess (Amy), Marlene Cole (James), David Hess (Marcy) and Larry Hess (Jennie); and her husband Neal. She is also survived by four children, 19 grandchildren, and 57 great-grandchildren.
